Part 1 of Registration - Create an account

Firstly you need to create an account with Vident and register your tool. This can be done through the update software iScanzilla or through our website.

1.Just select your tool from the list on the Vident>Support&Service>Update Client and Manuals page (http://www.videnttech.com/support/update/) and follow the instructions to download the latest version of iScanzilla.

PS: In the package you can find a disc preloaded with iScanzilla. You can install from disc directly too.

Alternatively, you could download the update client from our website. It’s right under the download tab of individual product page.

2.The file downloaded will be a compressed zip file. Open that file and run the installer inside it.

3.Once installed, open the iScanzilla software, click the Register button and complete the registration form to create your user account

Alternatively, you can click the Sign Up button on the right upper side of our website to create an user account.

Part 2 of Registration - Add your tool to the account

Important message: For new user of Vident products(iLink&iAuto series), when you insert TF card into computer and run iScanzilla, registration is automatically finished.

For user who already have one scan tool(iLink&iAuto series)registered, please register as follows:

1.To register the tool, you will need the tool's Serial Number and 'Register Password'.

You can find these on the tool by selecting Setup > About.

Or you can check the Password Paper in the package

When logged into iScanzilla, click the 'Register Products' icon.

2.On the 'S/N Registration' tab, put a tick in the box marked '001' then enter the product's serial number and password, and click Submit.

3.A confirmation box should be shown confirming successful registration. Alternatively, you can register the product in the member center when logged in on our website.

Software update procedures:

1. Now close the iScanzilla software, remove the TF card from your tool (making sure the tool is turned off first!) and connect it to the PC via an TF card reader.
2. Once Windows has detected the TF card, run the iScanzilla software and login again. click the 'My Updates' button. After a few seconds, a list of the available software updates will appear.

Ensure that the correct serial number is displayed in the drop-down list.

3.Click the Update button to download and install available updates.

Please kindly note: the update process can take a long time. If your tool has not been updated recently, it may take a few hours for the update process to complete. Once

the update has completed, don't forget to 'safely remove' the SD card in Windows before unplugging it, to avoid the possibility of data corruption.

How to Update Autel MaxiIM IM608 Key Programmer with XP400 Pro

 Autel IM608 programmer, working with xp400 pro, has the same functions as the IM608 pro. Moreover, it adds more functionality for BMW, Mercedes-Benz, as well as EEPROM reading.

This article is gonna share the methods on how to update Autel MaxiIM IM608 Key Programmer with P400 Pro adapter with every single instruction step so that customers can keep their IM608 scanner fully updated up to date.

Main Operation Procedures:

Press "Home" button>>"System Settings"

This unit will automatically highlight the WIFI option. You have to confirm, before updating operation, it has already connected to the wireless network.

  

Then hit "Home" button and select "MaxiIM" to continue.

We have to make sure the tablet itself is fully updated first.

 

The table will come to the loading process, waiting a few moments to achieve the latest updates for you.

The tool will automatically connect to the VCI and achieve the latest updates for your tool.

 

After updating process has finished, it will display "Your software is up to date".

That means, VCI has updated successfully.

Next, let's begin to update the XP400 key programmer

Take the USB cable out of the VCI and put it towards the bottom of the XP400.

Hit the "Back" button twice to come to the "MaxiIM" interface.

Choose "Programmer" menu.

Screen shows "Diagnostic program loading", further shows "Checking Upgrade File".

It will automatically detect the XP400 and update the tool.

Here, it fetched the firmware newest version[V1.81], ready to update, go!

How to Solve Autel MS908S Pro “Insufficient SD Card Storage” Problem?

You are gonna see the “Factory data reset” on the top. Click on it and enter into an interface that gives you the explanation of what kind of internal files (or data) will be deleted.

 

We want to erase the SD card because that is the internal memory on the tool.

So select “Erase SD card”>> “Reset Tablet”

You’re gonna get a warning on your tablet that this move will erase everything on your tablet, including all cars, all manufacturers, everything, just like this came out of the box from the factory.

 

Please do keep this in your mind:

If you are not under update contract, you will not be able to recover this information, leading to information forever deletion.

So make sure you’re under update contract before doing this process.

Let’s go ahead to click “Erase everything” to completely wipe out the tool.

Now we’ve done the complete reset on the tool. Whenever we go back into the Mac Cesis application you’re going to that it says an Internet connection is required because we have completely deleted everything out of the tool.

So let’s go ahead and set up or Internet connection by holding down on the Wi-Fi.

Enter the Wifi password to finish the connection.

 

Go back over to the “Home” screen again<< Click on “Diagnostics”

You will see that all the vehicles and their history downloaded record are gone.

 

All right. That’s click on “Settings” menu and scroll down to choose the “Storage” option.

The storage level becomes 27.7 G available out of the 32G.

Feel so happy to have lots of room to start over.

Now you can start to download the software of diagnostic or TPMS that you wish to update into the tool, not selecting all of them, just based on your personal needs.

The "ADAS" icon on the front page has gone way, instead it has changed to be under the "Diagnostics" icon.

 

Select "Update" icon and see all the updates you can do currently for your car.
