Autel MaxiCOM MK908 User Guide: Disable Lost BMW Keys

 In this article we’ll show you how to disable lost BMW keys by Autel MaxiCOM MK908.

If we lose a key with comfort access on a BMW E60, E90 or others, we need to erase it from the CAS module without affecting the keys we have. We can do this by other scan tools but this MK908 is more convenient.

How to erase a key?

Turn on the MK908 professional scanner, select

Service>>Immo keys>>BMW>>Automatic selection>>Hot functions

We are going to erase the key 3 that I’ve misplaced and never delete key 1, because key 1 is our valid key. I have key 2 and 4, and key 4 is the one I program because of a battery issue.

Here is the entrance “Block and enable remote key”.

We can see the CAS module can have 10 keys at most.

Continue and we’ve got all different functions.

So we select “F2: Replace/block remote key”.

    

Then we end the service function and we’ve already erased the lost key.

It’s very easy to block or erase a lost key, and I do recommend to delete lost keys.

So, how to identify the lost key if I don’t know it’s key 3?

Go to “Remote Key: Personalization Number”.

Select “F1: Display of personalization number”.

  

So, that’s the whole process.

BTW, this MK908 can also re-enable the lost key if you find it, that’s a good feature.

American Customers who Just received this Xhorse Remote Tester for Radio Frequency Infrared has recently reported a usage problem.

Operation Steps:

Take out the battery from this tool first

Remove the “Xhorse trademark”, turn the screws from four corners of the tool, take out the back hard cover like this:

 

Then do this, watch very carefully:

Turn this component from the former two stitches to the latter ones:

 

Install the back cover and battery back and make the screws attached into it.

Yanhua Mini ACDP Tutorials: CAS4/CAS4+ Key Programming/ Adds Key

This article is to share the customers with Yanhua Mini ACDP Tutorials on CAS4/CAS4+ Key Programming/ Adds Key

Operation Procedures:

Firstly, remove the CAS4 module of the vehicle and it is under the steering wheel.

What we need to prepare:

Check all the stuff needed: CAS4 module, CAS4 copper pillar, CAS4 interface board, BDM adapter, a working key and a new blank key, 20PIN cable, BAV-KEY adapter, OBP+ICP adapter, ACDP host.

Install the copper pillar and align DI-D4 test points like this:

Lock the board with copper pillar and PCB lock; Connect the OBP+ICP adapter and BDM adapter, then connect BDM adapter and CAS4 interface board

 

Connect ACDP host and power up the ACDP.

Start the key programming test:

Tap “ACDP” app>>BMW>>cas1-4>>CAS4/CAS4+>>ICP mode

Then, find out where the mask ID is and based on it, choose the second one “5M48H”.

 

Tap “IMMO”>>Read CAS4 EEPROM

 

Watch the “Probe detection result”:

VIN number and CAS4 version checked, which means “Reading data successfully!”

Back to the main menu and tap “Add key”,

Connect the BAV adapter and put in the blank key.

 

Get current key ID:

Select the original DFLASH data and choose the unoccupied key channel displayed as FF.

Put the car starting key into the coil:

Generating dealer key. Programming key successfully!
